Announcements!

We have some exciting news! CCAS has moved to a new and improved version of our platform. Not only is it more powerful and better organized, it is completely responsive (looks great on all devices).

The only issue we are experiencing with this move:

  • Thanks for you're warm welcome. I will be posting some of my stuff soon, even though most of it is more realistic that I have, I have done some brighter and cartoonish things.
  • Thanks for your welcome and kind comments. Yeah I'm pretty excited about joining up here, I can't wait to see everyone's stuff, it's so inspiring and just great that so many christians are getting amongst it in the comic fray. I'm requesting you as a friend, please accept, I don't deal well with rejection :)
  • hey hey,
    how are things ralph?!?

    i've missed you guys...
things have just been crazy over here,
in addition to the full time animation project and my own graphic novels,
i've been touring with some artists for a few shows around.
getting a lot more exposure but not so much time...
it wont be long till i get some openings (i pray) and i'll have to make my way through to some meetings again!

    oh,
and i think i'm going to miss wondercon this year...
i'm going to be at the NY con,
and those two are too close together for me to make both.

hope all is blessed and well!
    good hearing from you.

    in Christ,
    jerrell-
  • Thanks for the welcome! :)
  • Thanks for the welcome! Have a great day, Ralph - God bless!
  • Thank you so much for the welcome sir!

I have been to Comic Con. But only once a few years ago. Its a shame that I didn't see your table there. :( This year I'll be sure to stop by though!

I already posted some of my work from last year so feel free to stop by and take a look. God Bless and thanks!
  • Thanks for the kind words, Ralph. I'll try to get some images posted soon, but I tend to be easily distracted so it might be a week or two. A Christian writer friend and myself collaborated on a quietly Christian values comic strip a few years back that we both still love, despite all of the major features syndicates rejection letters. We are planning to submit three strips for the CCAS sketchbook to keep the flame going.

Thanks for your reply concerning the specs for a successful submission. As soon as the writer and I determine the three we like I'll email them as one unit along with a scripture passage.
  • do you have a deadline for the CCAS sketchbook?
  • I definitely will.
  • Hi Ralph. I believe I got a chance to meet you at San Diego if not during that Con then at another one. I'm glad you guys have created this online resource. It's quite a blessing and very professionally done. Phil Keaggy, yeah, he's an incredible musician. Thanks for welcoming to this forum! Blessings!
