We have some exciting news! CCAS has moved to a new and improved version of our platform. Not only is it more powerful and better organized, it is completely responsive (looks great on all devices).

The only issue we are experiencing with this move:
Members who joined after August 22, 2019 WILL NEED TO RE-ENTER THEIR PROFILE QUESTION, ANSWERS. Please accept our sincere apologies for this inconvenience.

We have added a new Profile Question: "Which Category best describes you?"

Categories: Amateur Artist, Professional Artist, Amateur Writer, Professional Writer, Independent Self-Publisher, Traditional Publisher, and Fan.

Please edit your Profile, and select your chosen category. By choosing the category that best describes you, will enable you to add content to the appropriate new modules:
1. Artists: Add photos to the new Arts & Prints Photo Module.
2. Writers: Add your bio information to the new Writers List Module.
3. Publishers: Add your bio information to the new Publishers List Module.
4. Publishers & Writers: Add books to the new Comic Books & Graphic Novels Module.

  • Hi ya, I know you like Christian comics so I know you'll love The Word for WORD Bible Comic(Unabridged, historically accurate graphic novel of the Bible with a high view of scripture. For ages 15+)

To complete the first book I need your help, as I am raising funds on Kickstarter. My passion is to get God's Word in full into the hands of young believer and unbelievers and comic lovers of all ages, in the hope they will come to really know God. Please check it out at the KS page, it's going well but I still need lots of backers so I hope as a CCAS member you'll please pledge to support this project...

If you are concerned about the accuracy and faithfulness to the text please read this Blog...

PS - Please add me as a friend here on CCAS

The Word for WORD Bible Comic-100+pg Graphic Novel (Judges)

  • I want to say that I love 'Modern Christians' and enjoy your informative art works very much as well!  Though I'm sure your free time is packed with project, if you ever have some extra free time, can you look at my 'The Edge of the Flock' project at ? It's also a story about Christian teens, and since you have definitely put a lot of thought and seem inspired about this subject, I'd love your critique and comments.

  • Ok great! Shoot me an e-mail and I'll send you the information.
  • Happy belated b-day! Also, I'm currently interviewing Christians who are involved in comics. Feel free to check out some of the interviews I've posted to my blog so far, and let me know if you're interested in being interviewed. If so, you can e-mail me at with "Interview Information" as the subject. Take care and congrats on the progression of your comic!
  • Happy B-Day my man!!!
  • Dude, I just want to say I really like your comic. I like to see the way its growing artistically and i pray you continue to have characters who really shine a Christ-like light while still showing the struggles of human beings.

I pray the Lord blesses and even writes into your story.

So yea, i like it allot. thats a good summation...nuff said lol

  • Hey! Just started reading your comics :) I'm really liking it! Can't wait til I see more of them, keep up the good work! God Bless!
  • David, in your last comic you said you were going to update more now that you're on break, but we have seen nothing. What's going on?
  • It looks like you are doing some pretty important work. Being candid about controversial topics between Christians and non-Christians is pretty important. I have been plugging away at the same comic for nearly 3 yrs and have a similar goal of bridging the gap of understanding. Currently nothing is posted on-line, but hopefully I will soon have something for all to see.
  • I hear you. I'm trying to do the same thing with my comic. It's definitely needed, and I think there's a sufficient readership for it.
